A certified industrial hygienist tested the air quality in room 3370 in the Garrett-Strong Science Building on the Northwest Missouri State University campus and has determined it is clean.
The industrial hygienist conducted the test following an incident Tuesday morning where three students had passed out in a general chemistry lab course. No chemicals were open or being used at the time, and no gas odor was detected in the room. The room was evacuated and lab courses in that room were rescheduled.
Garrett-Strong is open and all classes are being conducted as scheduled.
