Area children are invited to trick-or-treat in Northwest Missouri State University residence halls from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
Families may pick up a campus map and a list of participating rooms at the front desk of each Northwest residence hall. The event has evolved into a long-standing tradition sponsored by Northwest's Residence Hall Association, said Meghan Davis, area coordinator for Residential Life at Northwest.
“It is a great way for Northwest to stay in touch with the community in a positive way,” said Joshua Rector, a residential counselor at Northwest’s Missouri Academy. “I earned my undergraduate degree, and every year I loved seeing how the local community brought their children on campus to experience our Bearcat hospitality.”
Northwest students who are interested in participating must sign up at their residence hall's front desk by Saturday, Oct. 29. Students are encouraged to decorate their doors and rooms and dress up. Students must provide their own candy.
The annual event is sponsored by Northwest’s Residence Hall Association. For more information, contact Rector at firstname.lastname@example.org.
