Northwest Missouri State University’s American Marketing Association is teaming up with other student organizations for its annual trick-or-treat for canned goods.
Students from AMA, Delta Mu Delta, Ad Ink, Alpha Sigma Alpha and Tau Kappa Epsilon will collect food for the Ministry Center by going door-to-door from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. Students will also collect items from departments on campus. Departments interested in donating goods should have their items ready for a student to gather.
“This year we had a vision to combine a lot of organizations to make it an even bigger event,” said Kaitlin Cole, a senior marketing management major from Fort Dodge, Iowa, who is helping to organize the event. “It is a great way to give back to the community and help others, and we are very excited that so many organizations have taken interest and are willing to help us make this event amazing.”
