Public comments invited for University’s quality checkup
The Higher Learning Commission, which serves as Northwest Missouri State University's accrediting agency, is seeking comments from the public for the University's quality checkup visit slated for Jan. 25-26, 2012.
Comments, which must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution, should include the name, address and telephone number of the person providing the comments and must be received by Dec. 15. The Higher Learning Commission cannot guarantee that comments received after that date will be considered.

Comments will not be treated as confidential, and complaints will not be considered as comments. The Higher Learning Commission cannot settle disputes between individuals and institutions, whether those involve faculty, students, administrators or members of other groups. Individuals with a specific dispute or grievance with the institution should request the separate Policy and Procedures for the Consideration of Complaints Made Against Affiliated Institutions from the Commission office.
