Sept. 23, 2011
Volunteers from Northwest Missouri State University will donate their time and service to Maryville residents during the University's annual fall BRUSH.
Volunteers will paint a house at 110 W. Jenkins and work on various landscaping projects in Maryville from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 27-29. Northwest's fall BRUSH previously was scheduled for Sept. 17 but canceled due to inclement weather.
Students interested in volunteering should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Pizza will be provided.
BRUSH, or Beautifying Residences Using Student Help, was launched in 2004 and gives Northwest students opportunities to work on landscaping, painting and other home improvement projects.
