‘Nuts and Bolts’ workshops to assist in event planning

Northwest Missouri State University executive boards and campus organization members are invited to attend workshops Sept. 27-28 aimed to help them better coordinate events on campus.

The "Nuts and Bolts" workshop will teach students, faculty and staff about event planning at Northwest and offer tips about room reservations, posting policies, how they can utilize the University Relations office, catering and Student Senate allocations.

The Office of University Relations believes events are most successful when they are well organized and planned in advance and can define the quality of your organization or department as well as directly reflect on the University and its public image.

Individuals may attend one of two workshops in the J.W. Jones Student Union Living Room at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 or at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.

For more information about the workshops contact Kathryn Donovan at 660.562.1226 or by email at
