Wellness Services at Northwest Missouri State University invites students, faculty and staff to its open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Wellness Center.
The open house will include free food, opportunities to meet the staff, activities and giveaways.
Wellness Services operates with a philosophy that wellness is a way of life and involves achieving a balance among mind, body and spirit. Wellness Services' approach with Northwest students involves education, prevention and promoting self-responsibility in maintaining one's own health.
Wellness Services offers services ranging from diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury, gynecology services, sexually transmitted infection testing, depression and anxiety screening, minor procedures such as ingrown toenails and splinter removal, allergy injections, immunizations and sports medicine.
