Northwest student dies in auto accident
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University community is mourning the death of a student who died as the result of car accident.
Dana C. Brooke, 20, who recently completed her sophomore year and was an elementary education major at Northwest, died Saturday, July 23.
According to a traffic crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brooke was the passenger of a vehicle traveling on Route A in Braymer. The vehicle reportedly crossed the centerline, struck an embankment and overturned. Booke was pronounced dead at the scene by the Caldwell County Coroner.
A funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Braymer Christian Church in Braymer. A family visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at the church.
