MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Kansas City T-Bones and the alumni associations from each MIAA school, including Northwest Missouri State University, have teamed up to see which school can get the most fans in attendance at the T-Bones June 24 baseball game.
The first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. Friday, June 24, as the T-Bones take on the Fort Worth Cats at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, 1800 Village West Parkway, in Kansas City, Kan.
A package deal is available for $15 per person. This includes a game ticket and a chicken dinner at the Northwest tailgate party prior to the game. Fans are invited to bring their own drinks and lawn chairs, and look for the green Northwest Alumni Association tent near the stadium.
Tickets can be purchased through the Alumni Relations Office at Northwest by 5 p.m. Friday, June 10, by calling 660.562.1248 or stopping by the Alumni House. Payment must be provided at the time of purchase.
Tickets can be picked up at the Alumni House or beginning at 5 p.m. the date of the game at the Northwest Alumni Association tent near the stadium.
The Kansas City T-Bones are members of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball league, which consists of 14 teams from Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Indiana, Nebraska, Louisiana, Iowa and Kansas.
