MARYVILLE, Mo. - The public is invited to learn more about the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Northwest Missouri State University by attending an information night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Riverstone Retirement Community, located at 9000 North Congress Ave., in Kansas City.
The event will be an opportunity for business owners and developing entrepreneurs to learn more about the CIE and network with current and prospective tenants as well as Northwest representatives and alumni.
Light hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine will be served.
The CIE at Northwest Missouri State University is a 46,679-square-foot mixed-use business incubator and academic research facility with state-of-the-art research labs and office space. Along with programming specializing in nanotechnology, the CIE offers a commercial analytical laboratory and contract analytical laboratory services. The CIE provides entrepreneurial support to commercializing technologies, expanding businesses, faculty and students.

Other informational events are planned for Tuesday, June 28, in St. Louis; Thursday, July 21, in Columbia; and Tuesday, Aug. 2, in St. Joseph. Dates for events in Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Neb., are being determined.
