MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Celebration show choir at Northwest Missouri State University will present its Spring Show at 8 p.m., Friday, April 15, in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.
The show is free and open to the public.
The Celebration Spring Show is an annual performance of singing and dancing that showcases the Northwest Celebration. The show features the choir's 34 members in a variety of musical numbers from Broadway shows.
This year's show is titled "Give Me the Stage and Strike the Lights."
"The community should attend to hear wonderful solos, duets and full ensemble performances of music from a variety of Broadway Shows," Celebration Conductor Dr. Paul Mayhew said. "Our students are very talented and have been working toward this performance all spring."
Mayhew is a visiting professor at Northwest this spring and directing the Celebration choir in place of Dr. Brian Lanier, who is in London as part of the Missouri London teaching program.
