MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Office of Campus Activities and the Office of Residential Life at Northwest Missouri State University is sponsoring a leadership luncheon aimed at helping students and advisors maximize their leadership skills while transitioning into new organizational roles.
The luncheon will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom. It is open to all students and organizational advisors.
The event is free, however, participants should bring their own lunch. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
The luncheon will begin with a roundtable session focusing on transition. Attendees will discuss transitions to new leadership roles and organizations as well as professionalism, self-promotion and leadership.
Northwest Vice President of Student Affairs Jackie Elliott also will speak to attendees.
