Student Senate accepting candidate applications for executive board
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Student Senate at Northwest Missouri State University is collecting applications for candidates seeking election to its 2011-2012 executive board.
Election applications will be available until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. Applications are available online at http://www.nwmissouri.edu/studentaffairs/ssenate/index.htm.
Any students interested in running for office must complete the online application and attend one of three Elections Commission Policy meetings. Candidates may select more than one office for which to run.
The dates for Elections Commission Policy meetings are:
- Tuesday, April 5, immediately after the regular Student Senate meeting at about 8 p.m. in the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom.
- Wednesday, April 6 at 2 p.m. in the Student Union Meeting Room B.
- Wednesday, April 6 at 8 p.m. in the Office of Campus Activities.
Voting will take place on Cat Paws beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, April 11 and conclude at 5 p.m. Friday, April 15.
Members of the Elections Commission will be at information tables in the Student Union from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day during the voting period to answer questions and provide students a place to vote.
