Dance company to perform spring show April 1

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University dance company will perform its spring show, "Dancing Fools," at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 1, at in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets go on sale Monday, March 28. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased with a Bearcat Card at the Student Services Center located on the first floor of the Administration Building or at the door the night of the show.

The show features various styles of dance including hip hop, lyrical, tap, clogging, partner dancing, jazz and pom. The Northwest dance company hosts a show during the fall and spring trimesters.

"We're all fools for dance," said Amy Schafer, vice president of the Northwest dance company. "We love the support we have from the community and would love nothing more than to take this opportunity to entertain them for one night."
