MARYVILLE, Mo. - The International Student Organization at Northwest Missouri State University will take guests "Around the World in One Night" for its annual dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 12, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom.
Tickets for students are $10 cash or $11 if they are charged to a Bearcat Card. Tickets for non-students are $12 dollars or $5 for children under 12.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Intercultural and International Center desk, located on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union, or the Student Services, located on the first floor of the Administration Building. ISO also is selling tickets outside the Bearcat Food Court from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each weekday.
Dating back more than 25 years, the ISO Dinner is an annual banquet to benefit the student group. Student members present cultural dances and performances, in addition to preparing menu items that represent their native countries.
The organization's members hail from a variety of countries, including Russia, Mexico, Spain, Japan, China, Sudan and Nigeria.
