Education majors, school districts invited to attend annual Education Expo Friday

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Education majors and school districts are invited to attend the 2011 Education Expo from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, in Bearcat Arena.

The event is free and does not require pre-registration.

Education Expo is a positive networking opportunity for all education majors, alumni and school districts. Students will learn about future employers and school districts can meet possible employees.

Northwest's office of Career Services, which coordinates the annual event, anticipates more than 70 school districts from Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska will attend. For a complete list of attending school districts click here.

Teacher candidates may present their resumes to various school districts as and talk about the district's immediate openings. Younger Northwest students also are encouraged to attend Education Expo to network with school district representatives.
