MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University will begin accepting nominations Monday, Feb. 28, for the Northwest Awards and Recognition Ceremony, which will take place at 4 p.m. Monday, April 11.
New this year, the Northwest Awards and Recognition Ceremony combines spring award ceremonies that previously were separate. The new ceremony is a collaborative celebration sponsored by Student Senate, the Office of Campus Activities and Student Employment. The event will recognize the Tower Service and Culture of Quality award winners, as well as the recipients of awards for student organizations and leadership and student employment.
"The Northwest Awards and Recognition Ceremony recognizes the contributions that Northwest students, faculty and staff have made to the University," said Kathryn Donovan, leadership development graduate assistant in the Office of Campus Activities. "It is so important to celebrate the accomplishments individuals make at Northwest to show our appreciation of excellence."
