Dr. Jackie Elliott speaks at “Life and Sounds of Black History” program

Dr. Jackie Elliott, vice President for student affairs, was a featured speaker for "Life and Sounds of Black History," a program Feb. 12 at Plattsburg High School.

Elliott, along with leaders in business and education, addressed the meaning of black history and the importance of education.

Elliott has spent more than 20 years working in higher education, serving in student affairs and student development positions at Barton County College, Creighton University and Highland Community College. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications, a master's degree in English, and a doctorate in higher education administration and leadership.
