University relocating residents, assessing damage after pipe bursts
MARYVILLE, Mo. - At about 4:15 p.m. today, Maryville Public Safety and University Police responded to Tower Suites West on the Northwest Missouri State University campus for a report that a water pipe burst.
A total of five rooms on three floors were affected, causing property damage and the displacement of 14 residents.
At this time the University is assessing damage and Northwest's Office of Residential Life is working on alternative living arrangements for the displaced students.
