Northwest St. Joseph Center offers ‘Career Building’ seminar

MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State University St. Joseph Center is hosting its first monthly Lunch N Learn boxed lunch seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the St. Joseph Metro Chamber of Commerce offices.

The seminars, held the second Tuesday of the month, focus on personal and professional development for members of the business community. The cost is $10 for members and $20 for general admission, which includes lunch.

Allison Hoffmann and Lisa Bishop, instructors in Northwest’s marketing and management department, will present a program titled, “Career Building.” The program will describe how to create a resume for today’s job market and how to use online networking.

The Chamber of Commerce office is located at 3003 Frederick Ave. in Saint Joseph.
