MARYVILLE, Mo. - The 88th Student Senate at Northwest Missouri State University has launched a contest to find a new logo, and the winning design will receive a $50 prize.
Submissions must contain two different logos: a logo without words containing only a symbol in jpeg format, and a logo that includes the words Northwest Missouri State University, with no abbreviations, and Student Senate.
Student Senate is accepting entries until Feb. 21. Entries should be submitted by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The contest lays the groundwork for a new look to Student Senate, Northwest Student Regent Joe Barbosa said.
"A new logo will bring a fresh look to Senate and symbolize the new ideas and vision it exhibits," Barbosa said.
The winner will be chosen by a committee and potentially a campus-wide vote. The winner will be notified by e-mail and asked to make final alterations to the design. For more information about the contest contact Student Senate at email@example.com or visit the Senate office in the Office of Campus Activities.
