The annual faculty art exhibit kicks off with an opening reception at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10 in Room 244 of the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building.
The exhibit showcases faculty members' research interests, said Philip Laber, professor and chair of the Department of Art at Northwest.
"This provides an opportunity for our students and Northwest community members to examine our collective creative endeavors, which are frequently represented throughout the nation at private and public galleries, museums and universities," Laber said. "We believe sharing our work with students is an important component to our living and learning environment as it exemplifies our professional activities outside the classroom and affords a model of continuous artistic exploration and activity for our students."
