MARYVILLE, Mo. - Members of the Northwest Missouri State University community can help make the holiday season special for those in need by purchasing a holiday gift for a local community member through the Panhellenic Council's annual Angel Tree drive.
More than 60 paper angels are available at the Office of Campus Activities on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union. People who choose to participate in the charity effort select a paper angel inscribed with gift suggestions. After picking an angel, donors - either individuals or groups - purchase the gifts and return gift-wrapped packages to the Office of Campus Activities by 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9.
Members of the University's Greek community will deliver the gifts to Maryville Middle School and the Children and Family Center of Northwest Missouri, which make sure the packages reach the intended recipients in time for Christmas. For more information about the, contact the Office of Campus Activities at 660.562.1226.
