Students preparing cultural foods for 'Friday Night Café'

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The public is invited to experience a night of culture and cuisine during "Friday Night Café," a series of meals prepared by students in Northwest Missouri State University's quantity foods and preparation class.

The event, sponsored by Northwest's Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for three consecutive Friday nights on the third floor of the Administration Building.

The dates and featured cultures are Nov. 5, Greece; Nov. 12, Morocco; and Nov. 19, Mexico. Patrons may choose from various entrees, sides and salads, and desserts popular to the people of each country.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the Student Services Desk on the first floor of the Administration Building.
