MARYVILLE, Mo. - The University Wellness Center will host its final flu shot clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4 in The Station East Room.
The walk-in clinic is free for all Northwest employees, compliments of the University's "Be Well" program. Students will be charged $20 and can pay with their Bearcat Card, cash or check only.
The flu vaccine protects against the three main flu strains that research indicates will cause the most illness during the flu season. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against this serious disease.
For more information regarding the flu clinic, contact University Wellness Services at 660.562.1348 or visit its website at www.nwmissouri.edu/wellness.
