University Wellness Services to offer satellite walk-in flu shot clinic
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The University Wellness Center is hosting another flu shot clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 in the Mel Carnahan Reading Room of the J.W. Jones Student Union.
The walk-in clinic is free for all Northwest employees, compliments of the University's "Be Well" program. Students will be charged $20 and can pay with their Bearcat Card, cash or check only.
The vaccination covers the H1N1 strain. Vaccinations are recommended for the elderly, people with chronic diseases and those who care for the sick. More information about the vaccine can be found at http://cdc.gov/.
