Faculty/Staff Spotlight

July 6, 2010

Dr. Matt Baker, Scott Shields, & Rose Viau

Three staff members in Northwest's Division of Student Affairs recently were elected to the Missouri College Personnel Association (MoCPA) for two-year terms during the 2010-2012 academic years.

Dr. Matt Baker, dean of students, was elected member at large; Scott Shields, area coordinator in the Office of Residential Life, was elected public institution representative; and Rose Viau, director of residential life in the Office of Residential Life at Northwest Missouri State University, was elected secretary.

The three members were elected to their offices in May and will begin service to MoCPA this summer.

MoCPA is an association for student affairs professionals across the state of Missouri. The association promotes the learning and development of students enrolled in post-secondary education institutions through the ongoing professional development of college student affairs administrators and student development educators, in accord with the purposes of the American College Personnel Association.
