Greg Haddock

Dr. Greg Haddock becomes the Vice Provost/Dean of the Graduate School. He will oversee Northwest Outreach, supervise Northwest's new grants coordinator, and will work with Director of International Affairs Dr. Jeff Foot to develop a strategic plan for the University's internationalization efforts.

Haddock has held a wide range of roles during his 14 years at Northwest, including Faculty Senate president, chair of the geology and geography department, and the last two years as interim graduate dean.

He earned a bachelor of arts degree in music and geography in 1990 from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va., and a master of science in geography in 1993 from the University of Idaho. Haddock earned his doctorate of philosophy in geography in 1996 from the University of Idaho.

The appointment is effective today.
