Seminar offers tips on building online presence for business
MARYVILLE, Mo. - Local residents will have two chances to learn how to create and manage effective websites during a July seminar being co-sponsored by the Small Business & Technology Development Center.
Participants will learn how an effective website can drive traffic and revenue to their business in an informative, interactive three-hour seminar.
With the ever-expanding popularity of the web, a strong online presence is essential to any business, large or small. Learn how to achieve your web-related goals, even with a limited budget. The seminar will include case studies of Fortune 500 companies, as well as tips for achieving higher rankings on Google and other search engines.
Other topics will include:
- Site development or improvement
- Making your site useful and appealing to customers
- The latest trends
- Search engine optimization
- Measuring traffic and return on investment
Residents can attend the seminar from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 or 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 8. Both session will be at the Maryville Public Library, 509 N. Main St. Registration is $35.
The program will be presented by David Morgan and Sean Callahan of AVX Media LLC, the Maryville Public Library and the Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC).
