Missouri Senate confirms Joseph B. Bosse as new member of Board of Regents
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.- The Missouri Senate today has confirmed Gov. Jay Nixon's appointment of Joseph B. Bosse (R), of St. Louis, to the Northwest Missouri State Board of Regents.
Bosse, a 1972 graduate of Northwest, has been the president of NEC Insurance, Inc. since 1977. He has served on the boards of several businesses and non-profit organizations.
Bosse's term on the Board of Regents will expire Jan. 1, 2016. He fills the board seat left vacant by Don Schneider, whose term expired in January 2009.
The Board of Regents develops policy and has responsibility for sound resource management of the University, and determines general, educational and financial policies.
