224 high school students compete in Senior Science Olympiad at Northwest

MARYVILLE, Mo.- Northwest's department of chemistry and physics hosted 24 schools at the on Friday, March 5 for the Senior Science Olympiad with 224 students participating in general and advanced exams.

Individual honors

General Chemistry (small school)

First Place ($750 Scholarship): Nick Anoriano - Mid-Buchanan
Second Place ($500 Scholarship): Derrek Christians - Lourdes Central
Third Place: David Litherland - Mid-Buchanan

General Chemistry (large school)

First Place ($750 Scholarship): Brad Dice - Liberty
Second Place ($500 Scholarship): Rachel Chapin - Liberty
Third Place: Elizabeth Schieber - Maryville

Advanced Chemistry (small school)
