Northwest to host Family and Consumer Sciences Week activities
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The family and consumer sciences department at Northwest has announced its annual Family and Consumer Sciences Week, March 15-19. The theme for this year's celebration is "Real Life."
In addition, the Northwest Student Dietetics Association will host Free Fruit Fridays for National Nutrition Month on March 5, 12 and 19 in the J.W. Jones Student Union Food Court.
Events during the week of March 15-19 include:
- Monday, March 15 - The American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences will host a "Grab and Go Breakfast," 9-10 a.m. in the hallway of the Administration Building's third floor.
- Tuesday, March 16 - "Real Life" FCS Annual Student Banquet, 6 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.
- Thursday, March 18 - FCS students will sponsor the "Money and Me" information booth in the Student Union; Child and Family Studies students will read at Horace Mann Early Childhood Education and Learning Center.
