Students eligible to showcase work at Celebration of Quality; deadline to register is Feb. 22
MARYVILLE, Mo. - All graduate and undergraduate students who have completed a successful project, paper, performance or creative work while at Northwest are eligible to showcase their work at Northwest's Celebration of Quality on Tuesday, March 9, beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the J.W. Jones Student Union.
The event allows students to present their work in the way they think is best: read, perform or displayed. Poster displays, art work, academic papers, creative writing, plays, experiments and demonstrations are all welcome to present.
Students who choose to participate will receive a program in advance of the event with the specific presentation time and location. Arrangements can be made with instructors to have an excused absence for a University event.
Participants must find a faculty member as their sponsor and fill out the application form available at http://www.nwmissouri.edu/academics/celebration/index.htm. Students may present by themselves or with partners. The deadline for registration is Feb. 22.
Questions should be directed to Dr. Jenny Rytting at rytting@nwmissouri.edu or in Colden Hall 2830, or Dr. John Fisher at jfisher@nwmissouri.edu or in Wells Hall 136.
