Students invited to attend Health Fair Expo
Northwest students are invited to stop by the Health Fair Expo from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 in the J.W. Jones Student Union. The expo will offer a range of information and activities focused on health and wellness.
Nurses will be stationed on the second floor of the union, where students can pick up flu kits and health tips, or participate in health screenings. On the first floor, students can access information about eating disorders, body image and self-esteem.
In Meeting Room A, counselors and wellness experts will be leading a variety of presentations:
- 9 to 11 a.m. - Breather and Meditation
- 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Mindful eating
- 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. - Yoga, relationship tune-up and mental floss
- 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. - Relaxation space
