Northwest's Department of Music will present a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Mary Linn Auditorium of the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.
The concert will feature the Northwest Tower Choir, conducted by Dr. Stephen Town, professor of music, and the University Chorale, conducted by Dr. Brian Lanier, associate professor of music. Dr. Charles Badami, instructor of music and collaborative pianist, will accompany the Tower Choir and University Chorale.
Guest soloist and French hornist Paul Basler will join the University Chorale for a performance of his composition "Songs of Faith," a cycle of five sacred songs that include "Psalm 150" "Ubi Caritas" "Be Thou My Vision" "Alleluia" and "Psalm 23."
The concert is free and open to the public.
