Angel Tree gift drive celebrates 12th year of holiday giving
Members of the University community can help make the holiday season special for those in need by purchasing a holiday gift for a local community member through the Panhellenic Council's Angel Tree program.
More than 60 paper angels are available at the Office of Campus Activities on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union. People who choose to participate in the charity effort select a paper angel inscribed with gift suggestions. After picking an angel, donors - either individuals or groups - purchase the gifts and return gift-wrapped packages to the Office of Campus Activities no later than Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Members of the University's Greek-letter community will deliver the gifts to Maryville Middle School and the Children and Family Center of Northwest Missouri, which make sure the packages reach the intended recipients in time for Christmas.
