Regents postpone meeting until Tuesday
The Board of Regents of Northwest Missouri State University meeting earlier scheduled for tonight, Monday, April 27, has been postponed until Tuesday.
The board will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009, by telephone conference and in the President's Conference Room, Administration Building, on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri.
The tentative agenda:
1) Discussion and adoption of Legal Defense Policy and Amendment of Bylaw Policy Regarding Indemnification of Regents and Officers of the University
2) Discussion and Contracting for Insurance for University, Regents, Officers and Employees for Items for Which Said Person/Entities are not Covered for Indemnity by the State Legal Expense Fund and/or for Which the Legal Expense Fund Provides No Defense.
3) Discussion and Contracting for Legal Counsel
4) Revisions to Policy on Maintenance of Records and Release of Information
The tentative agenda of this meeting also includes a vote to close part of this meeting pursuant to R.S. MO 610.021( 1)(3).
Following any closed meeting, the Board may, at its discretion, decide to go back into open session to discuss any old business or raise new items as individual members deem appropriate.
