Regents to meet Wednesday, March 18
The Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, in the Boardroom of the J.W. Jones Student Union.
Tentative agenda items include:
- Minutes of the Jan. 30 open meeting and minutes of the regents' teleconference on March 6.
- New position request: staff chemist for the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
- Cooperation with the city of Maryville with regard to planned infrastructure projects, including replacing/improving 16 th Street from College Drive to Country Club Road and construction of a new water tower on what is now University property north of the Materials Distribution Center. At this time, these proposals go before the board for informational and discussion purposes only.

The tentative agenda also includes a vote to close part of the meeting pursuant to R.S. MO 610.021(1)(3)(13).
Following any closed session, the board may, at its discretion, decide to reconvene in open session to discuss old business or raise new items as individual members deem appropriate.
The regents will dine together in the First Ladies Dining Room in the J.W. Jones Student Union at 11:30 a.m. prior to the meeting.
