Regents to meet Jan. 30
The Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents will meet in open session at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom.
Tentative agenda items include:
- A board resolution honoring Head Men's Basketball Coach Steve Tappmeyer for 400 career wins.

Minutes from the Dec. 12 meeting.

Proposed approval of the 2011-'12 academic calendar.

Proposed curriculum changes, including the addition of a bachelor of science in nursing RN-to-BSN completion program and new requirements for completion of a bachelor's degree in education in English.

Proposed retention of BKD (LLP) as the University's audit firm.

A discussion with regard to the University Farm.

The tentative agenda also includes a vote to close part of the meeting pursuant to R.S. MO 610.021(3)(13). Following any closed meeting, the board may at its discretion decide to go back into open session to discuss any old business or raise new items as individual members deem appropriate.
