Northwest Missouri State University

Financial Assistance

Northwest's tuition is much less than that of many other institutions. The average course load for a graduate student is nine hours, and international or out-of-state students must pay out-of-state tuition. However, for qualifying students, your tuition may be reduced after your first trimester with a tuition scholarship that allows you to pay in-state, rather than out-of state, tuition, saving approximately 40% on your tuition bill. Full-time (9 hrs), degree seeking non-resident or international graduate-level students are eligible for this tuition scholarship, provided they have a minimum cumulative Northwest graduate GPA of 3.30. Students must maintain continuous full-time enrollment in order to renew the scholarship for the future trimesters.
