Director of Counseling
Dr. Jackie Kibler received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Kansas. She completed her pre-doctoral internship training at Girls and Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska. She practiced as a School Psychologist in the Leavenworth, Kansas Public Schools and the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools for three years. Dr. Kibler served as a faculty member in the Department of Psychology, Sociology, and Counseling at Northwest Missouri State University from 2001 to 2008, where she taught both undergraduate Psychology courses and graduate courses in the School Counseling program. During this time she co-wrote and helped to implement a federal campus-wide suicide prevention grant for Northwest. Her research has focused on suicide prevention and prevention of self-injurious behaviors. In 2008, Dr. Kibler accepted a faculty position in the Psychology Department at The University of Montana teaching courses in the Ph.D. program in School Psychology. In 2010, Dr. Kibler returned to Northwest as the Director of Counseling at The Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics, and Computing.
