Important Dates
Final Application and Notification Deadlines:
- Application and supporting documents must be postmarked by March 15, 2008, for domestic applicants; and by January 15, 2008, for international applicants.
- Admission Notification Date is May 15, 2008, for domestic students; and February 15, 2008, for international students.
- Applicants are strongly urged to take the ACT or SAT before the test dates of February 9, 2008, and January 26, 2008, respectively.
- All domestic applicants must complete a FAFSA form. The deadline for FAFSA is April 30, 2008. This application is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Please use the code for Northwest Missouri State University when applying. That code is 002496.

Summer Orientation (for Class of 2010 accepted students only):
Accepted students and at least one parent or guardian must attend a one day Summer Orientation session. Activities on this day include placement tests and a family session. Information about residential and academic life, the Student-Parent Handbook, and transitions will be presented. Summer Orientation dates for the class of 2010 are:

Move-in Day:
Move-in day for the Class of 2010 is Sunday, August 17, 2008. August 18– August 23 will be Adventure Week. This week is set aside for an in-depth orientation to the Missouri Academy and Northwest. Students will get to know their roommates, CL’s and the Missouri Academy staff, participate in teambuilding activities, partake in teambuilding activities, partake in numerous fun activities on and off campus, and become acclimated to their new living and learning environment.
