We invite you to join us in this very special opportunity to show your pride in the Missouri Academy and Northwest Missouri State University. Through your tax deductible contribution to The Campaign for Northwest (for the Missouri Academy), you can feel secure and proud to know that your legacy will impact countless generations of Missouri Academy students and Northwest Missouri State University.
We are committed to providing strong foundational education, a living/learning environment, and the financial means to prepare tomorrow’s scientists, technicians and leaders from a diverse and dynamic population of high achieving individuals. These students will go on to make their mark on our society. We welcome individuals and organizations who wish to partner with us toward this goal.
Campaign Needs and Goals
The campaign proceeds will go towards supporting the following:
- Room and board scholarships for needy students
- Modernization of the Missouri Academy residence building - the North Complex building on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University
- High quality extra-academic opportunities such as summer research experiences, robotics, Model-UN, Science Olympiad, mathematics competitions etc.
- Marketing of the Missouri Academy – efforts to reach out to all high performing students in Missouri

How can you contribute?
For gifting opportunities, please contact the Dean of the Missouri Academy at 660-562-1077 or his cell phone at 660-541-0545, or contact the Northwest Missouri State University Foundation at 660-562-1248. A variety of giving options are available. Please be sure to note that your donation is for the Missouri Academy. Gifting options:
- Check or credit card payments: Payable to the Northwest Foundation, Inc. – for the Missouri Academy. Please mail your checks or credit card payments to Northwest Missouri State University, Office of University Advancement, 800 University Drive, Maryville, MO 64468.
- Double (or even triple) your gift: If your company or your partner's company has a matching gift program, your gift to the Missouri Academy may be doubled or even tripled. You can obtain a matching gift form from your Personnel or Human Resources Department. Send it along with your gift. We do the rest at no cost to you, and send thanks to your company.
- Securities: Transferring securities is a convenient way to give that can provide attractive tax benefits. To make a gift of securities, please call Andrea in the Northwest Advancement Office at (660) 562-1248.
- Real Estate and Other Appreciated Property: Missouri Academy is happy to consider your gift of real estate, art, antiques and other types of appreciated property. Please call Andrea in the Northwest Advancement Office at (660) 562-1248 to discuss your interest in detail.
- Deferred Gifts: A deferred or planned gift often allows you to make a larger gift than you might otherwise contribute and provides you with attractive tax advantages and/or income during your lifetime.
