Registration

Registration will be held in the main hall of North Complex. Please feel free to tour the Northwest campus at your leisure after you have registered.

Friday Dinner

Dinner will be served picnic style at the Ray Courter Pavilion across the street from the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. The evening's activities will kick off with welcome comments from Dr. Cleo Samudzi and Northwest's President, Dr. John Jasinski, along with some memorable Academite moments on a large screen.

This will be open time for individual classes to gather and socialize. Please see below for room assignments:

Saturday Morning Stretch

  • 5k Run/Walk: The 5K run will start at the circle drive of Lamkin Activity Center at 7:00 a.m. sharp. No registration is necessary, just show up and run or walk. The route for the 5K will be described.
  • Insanity with Allana Palmer (Class of 2010): If you're up to it, Allana Palmer will be leading an Insanity workout in Martendale Gymnasium
  • Yoga with Amea Chandler: Those of you interested in Yoga, Amea Chandler (RC) will be leading a Yoga class at College Park, across from the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. Bring your beach towels.

Expositions

This is an opportunity for alums and students to showcase their accomplishments via short presentations and displays. The displays will be set up around North Complex.

Lunch and Parent's Association Meeting

All parents are invited to attend the inaugural launch of the Missouri Academy Parents Association. Make sure you don't miss the opportunity to be part is this ground floor initiative. The meeting will be held in the Student Union. Look for signs.

Missouri Academy Olympics

Everyone is invited to come to the Recreation Center to have fun, sweat, compete, and win prizes. There will be activities for everyone!

Group Pictures

Everyone is being asked participate in the large group picture. There will be opportunity for individual class pictures as well. This will take place in the open area in front of the south entrance to North Complex.

Banquet

This is an opportunity for reflections by class representatives, former Missouri Academy staff, Northwest Faculty. The founder of the Missouri Academy and former president of Northwest Missouri State University, Dr. Dean Hubbard will give the main address.

Dance

The evening dance will feature a DJ playing a wide variety of music. Feel free to get down!
