The Missouri Academy has carefully cultivated relationships with Northwest Missouri State University researchers, and researchers at institutions such as the University of Missouri-Columbia, the University of Missouri-Rolla, University of Central Missouri and the University of Missouri at St. Louis. Through these relationships and collaborations, Missouri Academy students are afforded opportunities for summer research experiences under the tutelage of mentors who are experts in their fields. This represents the Missouri Academy's commitment to ensure that students receive invaluable real-world, hands-on experience. The Missouri Academy is always seeking new alliances with other institutions of higher education and industry to help us provide these very special experiences to our nation’s future leaders.
Other opportunities offered by the Missouri Academy include;
The Director of Academic Affairs provides students with guidance and resources (e.g. scholarship applications, essay writing, etc.) for placement into baccalaureate degree programs across the country. Students have opportunities to visit with representatives from other universities who come to the Missouri Academy. Nearly 100% of Missouri Academy students pursue baccalaureate degrees upon graduating from the Missouri Academy.
