Web of Science
Practice looking for information in the natural sciences in over 6125 journals and 145 book series. Since Web of Science records go back 20 years, you can do significant “cited reference searching,” basically finding out who has cited the article(s) displayed in your search. The database also links out to full text articles when available.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO)
Need help finding good information for your political science or marketing paper? Could you use a course pack to help teach Civil War information to your practicum class? Learn to search CIAO to find information concerning subjects, such as education, economics, political science, historic topics, environmental issues, and more. CIAO database holds information beginning with 1991 onward in full text documents. Users can also limit to specific dates. Each month, CIAO looks at a particular topic of interest and currency. CIAO defaults to searches in the advanced search mode, but can search in simple searches. Users can choose whether they wish to search in working papers, journals and books, policy briefs and case studies, as well as course packs and country data.

Whether you are doing a paper on a company or an industry or just wanting to know which stocks are performing well, we now have online databases to help. Value Line and Mergent Online both allow fast access to company or industry facts, but also allow customizable report-building.
