In an environment encouraging learning and inquiry, Owens Library maintains a collection that supports undergraduate and graduate research. We assure equitable information access to the entire University community and the region through our library services and programs. As an academic library, we use our activities to teach patrons lifetime information skills and to assist them in finding immediate answers. Because each Owens team focuses on the quality of what it does for our patrons, we provide friendly, helpful, and professional services. We subscribe fully to the American Library Association's standards and policies, including the ALA Code of Ethics and the Library Bill of Rights. (8/12/99)
