  • Find the collected or complete plays by specific dramatists
  • Find plays by title listed in anthologies or collected works
  • Find plays in "Best of " series

It is intended to service "play-givers, playgoers, play-readers, and the librarians who serve them." The emphasis on this edition is play-givers.

    Ottemiller's serves as an author and title index to plays appearing in collections published between 1900 and early 1975. The scope of the plays included are from earliest times to the present day. Anthologies and collections indexed were published in the the United States or the United Kingdom. The index intends to assist with locating plays which are not available locally in an author's collected works or in separate form.
