Amazing Space
Developed by the Formal Education Group of the Space Telescope Science Institute's Office of Public Outreach, this site offers resources based on the Hubble Space Telescope's greatest discoveries. American Institute of Physics
This Web site, maintained by the American Institute of Physics, features the latest information in physics news as well as a searchable database, a table of contents, and abstracts from over 80 society journals. Other aspects of this site include online journals and electronic services, employment and industry, education and student services, and a history center.
American Journal of Physics
The staff of the American Journal of Physics maintains this Web site. It provides a list of Web resources about the journal and other physics topics. It also includes a searchable database link for issues back to 1975 and online issues are available from the past four years.
American Physical Society
The staff of the American Physical Society maintains the APS Web site, which provides a searchable database, and links to physics Internet resources, careers and employment, and information on becoming a member of the society. The Web site also offers a link to APS Journals Online that provide publishing information and site navigation of the publications.
Center for History of Physics
A subsite of the American Institute of Physics, "the intent of this site is to preserve and make known the history of modern physics and related fields including astronomy, geophysics, and optics." Important features of this site include an Exhibit Hall covering major discoveries in physics, Visual Archives, and a Library with a number of resources for discovering the history of physics. Visitors are also given information on meetings, news, and publications.
College Physics for Students of Biology and Chemistry
"This is a hypertextbook written for first-year undergraduate physics students. It assumes that you have a working knowledge of algebra, that you are currently taking or have taken a college level course in Biology and one in Chemistry, and that you are interested in biology, chemistry or one of the health-related fields." It provides informational text helpful in explaining physics concepts as well as problems corresponding to the text. The text includes hints for solving the problems presented. The site also offers starting points for further research. This Web site was created by Kenneth Koehler, an Associate Professor of Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics at Raymond Walters College at the University of Cincinnati.

This site is broken up into sections on Measurement, Periodica Tables and Specialized Data, Physics Overview, Cources and Tutorials, and Physics by Topic. The Physics Overview section offers visitors a way to see what is new in physics and what opportunities exist in research. Visitors can also use this site to find data or look at the links to the tutorials and courses.
Molecular Expressions: Electricity and Magnetism Tutorials
Developed by Micheal W. Davidson and Florida State University, this site illustrates the concepts of electromagnetism. There are about 40 java tutorials to discover, each provides different electromagnetism ideas. For example, you can build up visual representations of electron shells, look at how a compact disc works or discover Ohm's Law.

Physical Sciences Resource Center
"The Physical Sciences Resource Center (PSRC) is a project of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) with the financial support from the Campaign for Physics. The PSRC provides teacher resources for the entire spectrum of learners." It offers information about the science job market, teaching in the classroom, a curriculum, a resource center, online demonstration and laboratory resources, a searchable database, and information on recent events and discoveries in physics. This site also provides links to evaluation instruments prepared by physics education researchers, and links to a wide range of physics educators that have agreed to act as resources. Members of the PSRC and AAPT staff maintain this Web site.
Physics 2000
One of the main attractions of the Physics 2000 Web site is the interactive applets, which allow the user to interact with the animated experiments, such as interference experiments and Bose-Einstein Condensation. The Einstein's Legacy portion of this interactive Web site "focuses on modern technological wonders," such as X-rays, CAT scans, microwave ovens, lasers, tv screens, and laptop (LCD) screens. This Web site is directed by Martin V. Goldman, a professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
