Books
Library Catalog
Search the library catalog for books located in Owens Library or in over 50 MOBIUS Missouri academic libraries. Click Inventors or Inventions to access books and other materials related to your topics in the Owens Library catalog. Click "Related Subjects (Lc)" to access a list subject headings related to inventors or inventions in the Owens Library catalog.

1) If a book you find in Owens Library is DUE that means is it checked out to someone else. If you want that book, click the Search MOBIUS button to see if you can find it in the MOBIUS catalog. If it is in the MOBIUS catalog, use the REQUEST THIS ITEM link to have the book delivered to Owens Library for check out. Note: Your campus code is NW and Northwest is part of the TOWERS cluster2) When searching in the Owens Library catalog, use the Search MOBIUS button to conduct the same search in the entire MOBIUS catalog (the holdings of over 50 Missouri academic libraries) and retrieve more results.

1) Academic Search Premier
Provides full-text for over 1,530 journals covering the social sciences, humanities, general science, multicultural studies, education, and much more. Click inventors or inventions to access a subject search in this database.

2) Expanded Academic
Indexes and abstracts over 1580 periodicals (over 750 titles full-text) covering astronomy, communications, computer science, current events, history, humanities, law, psychology, general sciences, and sociology. Click inventions or inventors to access a subject search in this database.
